Career Summary:

Altemus is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School and Salem College in West Virginia.  While in high school he played football, baseball and ran track. During his senior year in high school he received professional baseball tryouts with the Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Houston Astros and eventually decided to attend Salem College on a football scholarship.  Upon his graduation from Salem College he returned to his alma mater, Seneca Valley and began his coaching journey.  This will mark his 37th year as a coach and his 15th as head coach at Pine-Richland.  He is the winningest coach in PR history with over a 100 victories, 7 section titles, 1 WPIAL title and a PIAA State Runner-Up award. Coach Altemus has been named Coach of the Year 3 times, once at Grove City HS and twice at Pine-RIchland. In 2003 he was honored by KDKA as the Triple A Coach of the Year and presented the Pittsburgh Coach's Corner Award and in 2006 was honored by the ECFOA as the "Sportsman of the Year".  He has coached in the prestigious Big 33 All Star Classic ( PA vs. Ohio) and in the NAFCA All Star game. Altemus has four daughters, twins Kelly and Leslie, Shayna, Marissa, and a brand new Granddaughter Molly Grace.

ROBERT(ROB) DENSMORE | DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Career Summary:

Rob is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School where he played for head coach Clair Altemus. While at Seneca Valley he was named Captain of the team and earned 1st Team All-Conference as a senior.  After graduation he was given the opportunity to attend Lock Haven University to play football.  He graduated from Lock Haven in 1997 and had the chance to coach in Maryland at Bel Air HS were he not only coached football but wrestling as well. Densmore has been the Rams Defensive Coordinator since 2003 and his teams typically reflect their coach's attitude and approach to the game by playing a hard nosed, aggressive and stunting type of defense.  Coach Densmore is a Social Studies teacher at PR and lives with his wife Rebecca, daughter Erica, his Father, Denny and his son Cameron in Gibsonia.

ERIC KASPEROWICZ | OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Career Summary:

Coach Kasperowicz comes from North Hills High School were he was named the 1994 USA Today, Associated Press, and Gatorade Player of the Year.  He was the starting Quarterback of the prestigious Big 33 game (PA vs. Ohio), Parade All American and 2 time Pennsylvania All State player.  Eric was a four year starter at North Hills High School and was named by the Tribune Review as one of the All-Time greatest high school players in the history of the WPIAL. Upon his graduation from high school he attended the University of Pittsburgh on a football scholarship lettering 4 years and starting as a Linebacker for his last two years there.  Eric had numerous NFL tryouts but chose to return to his high school alma mater to begin his work as a high school football coach.  Coach Kasperowicz spent the last 15 years as an assistant coach with the North HIlls HS football program helping them to achieve numerous section and Quad A titles.  Coach Kasperowicz lives in Mars with his wife Jennifer, daughters Ella and Emlyn and his son Eric.

JOHN CURRAN | DEFENSIVE LINE COACH / STRENGTH COACH

Career Summary:

John is a 1993 graduate of North Hills High School and played under legendary WPIAL coach Jack McCurry.  Curran was a 3 year starter as a defensive and tight end and was a 3 year All-Conference selection during his high school career.  Upon his graduation in 1993 he received a football scholarship to attend Slippery Rock University.  While playing at the "Rock" John was named All-Conference and All American as a tight end. Coach Curran comes to Pine-RIchland with a rich coaching background having had stints at North Hills, Avonworth, Hampton, South Fayette and Slippery Rock. He was named the Rams Strength Coach this winter and the program has seen a steady increase in the strength development of the current Ram players.  Coach Curran lives in Gibsonia with his wife Sharon and twin sons John and James.

Career Summary:

Coach Casciani is a 1987 Belle Vernon High School graduate and attended Penn State University graduating in 1992 with a BS/MS degree.  He later attended the University of Pittsburgh to obtain his MBA degree in 2001.  Coach Casciani has been with the Pine-Richland Football family since 2003 working in many different levels throughout the program. His arrival to the varsity level in 2007 brought with it the opportunity to coach the running backs and to become the head JV coach.  Marc lives in Wexford with his family, wife Deborah, daughter Jarah and son Dallas.

Career Summary:

Kenny Lewis was a very special player at the high school level participating in football and basketball while attending Penn Hills High School. He was named to the 2005 Big 33 team and played against the best high school players in the state of Ohio.  Lewis was also selected to the Fab 22 team his senior and junior years distinguishing the best players in the WPIAL.  After graduation he attend Bowling Green University on a full football scholarship and started 3 years as a Defensive Back.  He was named the Player of the Game and the MAC Player of the Week against the University of Pittsburgh.  Graduation from Bowling Green led to a stint with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Power before injuries ended his professional career. This year marks Coach Lewis's second year with the Rams and his first working with the Junior Varsity Secondary. Coach Lewis lives in Pittsburgh with his son Kenneth.  Coach Lewis works as a Para Professional the PR Middle School.

Career Summary:

Evan attended Seneca Valley High School playing football and serving as team Captain his senior year.  Braithwaite is a 2010 graduate of IUP and is currently enrolled in the Waynesburg Graduate Program of Studies.  Evan was an assistant coach at Deer Lakes High School last year and helped to  lead them to a successful 2010 season.  He will coach the receivers and the defensive backfield here at Pine-RIchland and will assist Coach Densmore with the weekly defensive scouting plan.  Coach Braithwaite is single and lives in Cranberry.

Career Summary:

Todd comes to the Pine-Richland football program through Southridge High School and the state of Indiana were he was a high school All State Quarterback in 1986.  That honor led him to a scholarship to Indiana State University were he Quarterbacked the Sycamores for four years.  Coach Jochem will start his first year here at PR as the Quarterbacks Coach and will have the opportunity to help run the Rams new high octane offense. He also is coaching in the Pine-RIchland Youth Football Organization. Todd lives in Pine with his wife Barbara daughter Emma and two sons Ben and Eli.

Jeff is the second of three Bland brothers that have come through the Ram Family of Football.  Coach Bland attended Slippery Rock University and graduated in 2010 and is currently working towards his Masters Degree at Waynesburg University.  Jeff is single and lives in Wexford.

Coach Cafardi is a 1997 graduate of North Allegheny High School and a 2001 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. He has coaching experience from Butler Area High School having worked with the Quarterbacks/Receivers and the JV program as Offensive Assistant.  Coach Cafardi will implement and coordinate the APEX scouting program while working with the receivers and defensive backs.  Coach lives in Gibsonia with his wife Amy and children Shane and Lainey.

Career Summary:

Coach Sasson was a 1997 2nd Team All State Defensive Lineman as a senior at Fox Chapel High School.  He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania on a football scholarship and starred there as an Offensive Lineman for 3 years graduating in 2004.  Coach Sasson worked for 1 year as a Grad Assistant at IUP before returning to his high school alma mater and coaching under Bryan Deal for the last 7 years.  He is considered one of the finest and most knowledgeable offense line coaches in the WPIAL and should serve the PR Football program well.  Coach Sasson lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Heidi and newborn daughter Carly.
